AMPHIBOT is an amphibious robotics competition that challenges participants to design and build a robot capable of traversing both land and water terrains. Participating teams will race their amphibot across a specially designed obstacle track featuring rough terrains, ramps, barriers, drops, waterways, and floating obstacles. The amphibot that completes the track in the least amount of time, after accounting for all applicable bonuses and penalties, will be declared the winner. This year’s competition places greater emphasis on the hardware capabilities, durability, and adaptability of the bot through more challenging obstacles and environmental conditions rather than manoeuvrability of the bot in a trackpath.
